Interesting info: Middle Eastern gold jewellery is renowned for assayed gold purity levels often being higher than stated. The gold purity of this bangle is no exception. Although stamped 22ct [i.e. a purity of 91.667%], on assaying of this bangle, the gold purity reading was an amazing 94.005% pure, which results in a far superior gold caratage of precisely 22.56CT, making it far purer than a Krugerrand which has a gold purity of approx. 87% (i.e. 20.88ct). The mass of this bangle is almost double that of a 1oz Krugerrand. (Bangle's gold bullion value equal to about two 1ounce Krugerrands!)
